Garden Updates for July 2014
**Summer greetings!! Hope all of you are having a relaxing and fun filled summer. I wanted to bring you up to date on the status of our class garden and the rest of the garden beds. It has been just a little over a month since we planted our garden. Check out how it looks now!! There are lots of herbs you can come and harvest including sage, chive, oregano, parsley, basil, mint (LOTS of mint) and some baby kale. There is nothing else to pick yet but blossoms are appearing on tomatoes, potatoes, squash, onions pumpkins and cucumbers. If you stop by, check out the corn! It is pretty cool. Our potatoes are doing great as well as our peppers, tomatoes, herbs. No flowers on our nasturtiums yet. Remember that wild flower garden-----you should see it now!!! That is all for now. Have fun and keep cool!!
